The Supreme Courtroom on Friday dismissed a petition in search of an unbiased probe into the case of renowned actress Sridevi, who passed away as a consequence of accidental drowning on February 24, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The plea was filed by an Uttar Pradesh resident for an unbiased probe into the “mysterious loss of life” of Sridevi.
A Bench three-judge headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra dismissed the plea filed by one Sunil Singh who sought an unbiased investigation into the death of the actor. He mentioned the actor died under suspicious circumstances.
He moved the apex courtroom after the Delhi Excessive Courtroom had refused to entertain his PIL to probe her loss of life on March 9, saying authorities in India and Dubai had already seemed into the incident.
